 Thomson Reuters is looking for a Manager of Latin American Sales, based either in Mexico or in Brazil.  Responsibilities for this position include:


 ·To grow both new sales and existing base throughout the region for Thomson Scientific products.


·To Lead and develop all staff to insure that they excel at all job requirements such as product knowledge, procedural knowledge, sales skills, and strategic account and territory management.


·This position is responsible for assessing the market opportunity and strategy and for achieving sales growth and development in accordance with the Sales Plan and approved budget.


·To take responsibility for identifying your own training and development on an on-going basis. 


·To make positive efforts to promote personal safety and that of others by taking reasonable care at work, by carrying out the requirements of the law or following recognized codes of practice provided or advised by management to ensure safe working practices.


·To undertake any other reasonable duties as requested by your line manager/director on a permanent or temporary basis.




Requirements

We are seeking candidates with the following qualifications:


·Bachelor's Degree is required.


·Fluent in Spanish and Portuguese.


·Working knowledge of English.


·At Least 3 years sales leadership experience in the region.


·Demonstrated sales leadership success.


·Knowledge of the academic and government markets in the region.


·Knowledge of production systems and processes.


·Awareness of Company vision and goals.


·A good team player with the ability to work on own initiative.


·Well organized and disciplined with regards policy, procedure and standards.


·Good oral and written communications.


·Can set priorities and be flexible in changing environment.
